ล่าสุดเช่นกันจากศิลปินจีนระดับโลกอย่าง อายเวยเวย และ ฉ่ายกั๋วเฉียง หนังสือ According to What? ของ Ai Weiwei เป็นทั้งสูจิบัตรนิทรรศการและหนังสือรวบรวมตัวอย่างผลงานของเขาตั้งแต่เริ่มต้น มีทั้งภาพถ่ายและงานอื่นๆชิ้นสำคัญ มีภาพถ่ายเก่าๆของเขาตั้งแต่เขาเริ่มเป็นศิลปินที่นิวยอร์ค จนกระทั่งย้ายกลับมาจีนรวมกลุ่มกับเพื่อนๆศิลปินยุคบุกเบิกอย่างเช่น หรงหรง ใน East Village (จีน) ส่วนหนังสือ Ladder to the Sky ของ Cai Guoqiang นอกจากนำเสนอผลงานใหม่ที่เขาแสดงที่ ลอสแองเจลิส แล้ว ตัวศิลปินเองได้รวบรวมงานเก่าของเขา ทั้งงานระเบิดและดินปืนต่างๆ ภาพแรงบันดาลใจและบทความต่างๆ เรียกได้ว่าทั้งสองเล่มนี้เป็นหนังสือที่ควรมีเป็นข้อมูลอ้างอิงงานสองศิลปินสำคัญของจีนนี้

Latest books on Ai Weiwei and Cai Guoqiang – both contain latest and retrospective works, with essaysม interviews and other documentary materials. In According to What? Ai includes photographs of his days on New York and of his friends during the beginning of the Chinese contemporary art movement in the new China’s “East Village”. Cai Guoqiang’s book contains his latest installation in Los Angeles, and the artist’s own survey of past works and inspiration, from classical Chinese paintings to philosophy. Both have never-before-published materials worthy of a look and as reference.
